Monson Summerfest

We sold books at Monson Summerfest for the first time this year. I assumed we would do better at this venue than typical craft fairs because the visitors tend to be great browsers, and though we did get some sales, it was a little underwhelming. It was a scorching hot day though, and the crowds were had thinned out considerably by 12:30. We did get to meet five local authors who expressed interest in joining Authors Selling Books, so that's good. It's always great to meet new writers who are so passionate about what they do.

Hello,

Thanks for visiting. My name is Sandy Howell and I am the author of two novels. The first Spirit of a Rare Breed and the new, related, cozy mystery novel just out Saving GiGi. 

This blog will highlight authors from the Western Massachusetts and surrounding communities. It is meant to help us band together, working on venues to help promote and sell our books and to let you know what's going on in the area regarding authors, writing and book selling events.
